POSITION: Graduate Assistant for Womens Basketball
SUPERVISOR: Head Womens Basketball Coach
DEPARTMENT: Athletics Womens Basketball
LOCATION: Tiffin University Tiffin OH
Tiffin University is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Womens Basketball Program. Reporting to the Head Womens Basketball Coach the Graduate Assistant is responsible for assisting the coaching staff coach in all aspects of the basketball program including (but not limited to) practice and game preparation recruiting and retention of studentathletes budget management fundraising scheduling public relations community service and strict adherence to all NCAA and university rules.
Successful candidates require strong communication and interpersonal skills; a record of integrity and leadership and a willingness to advance the goals of the Tiffin University Department of Athletics including fundraising. A commitment to the academic success and graduation of studentathletes as well as knowledge or background of Ohio or the surrounding area is preferred. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Minimum Requirements:
A bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution is required as well as enrollment in Tiffin Universitys graduate program. The person in this position must live locally for the entire academic year and will be expected to work some night and weekend hours.
