About the role

We are currently seeking applications from qualified Health Care Workers to join our Residential Aged Care team. Suitable candidates will hold a Certificate II/IV Diploma or Bachelor certificate relevant to the position. Flexible roles available for both part time and casual positions.

As a Health Care Worker in ourResidential Aged Care facility you will provide high quality and safe personal care utilising a consumerfocused approach to our residents ensuring their needs are met with respect dignity and positivity.

We embrace flexibility and work with our candidates to find the best employment relationship to meet a positive work life provide care Monday to Sunday and a mix of day afternoon and some night shifts available.

About Us

Tallangatta Health Service is a 61 bed small rural public health service providing a mix of acute subacute aged care residential and community services to Tallangatta and the surrounding district. We pride ourselves on being a consumerfocused progressive provider of care to our community patients and residents with a multidisciplinary focus.

About you

You are passionate about what you do and want to support our consumers to live life to their will also have the following;

  • Certificate III in Individual Support/ Aged Care or equivalent
  • A clear and strong commitment to the providing quality care to our Consumers/Residents
  • Strong communication and consumer service skills
  • Well developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and problem solve
  • Able to comprehend and follow written instructions and procedures
  • Motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Current Drivers Licence

All appointments are made subject to the required security screening including National Criminal History NDIS Worker Screening checks andan immunisation status appropriate to the role including the annual Influenza vaccination.
