Fabrication Team Lead
Overview
The Kitter shall be responsible for a variety of duties including loading unloading and moving products and materials to the designated locations in the warehouse and assisting in picking and placing materials orders.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Load unload and move products and materials by hand or equipment.
- Sort and package fabricated parts onto a cart according to the subassembly list and deliver to point of use in the plant (manually or with equipment).
- Check to ensure subassembly counts are correct and items meet a visual quality inspection and report any discrepancies to the fabrication area.
- May perform other activities such as assisting in taking inventory and weighing/checking and sorting materials.
- Put away received materials to proper storage locations
- Confirm inventory transactions are complete.
- Participate in cleanup.
- Performs all duties in accordance with SilentAire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act Regulations and Code.
- Other duties as required.

- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Effective communication skills.
- Time management skills.
- Critical eye for identifying defects.
- Knowledge of appropriate materials methods and the tools required in various assembly processes.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 40 pounds.
Working Conditions
- Commercial/Industrial environment.
- Exercise caution as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards.
- Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment).
- Employee may be exposed to uncomfortable work settings such as cold weather outdoors; may have combinations of standing crouching or sitting throughout the day.
- Overtime as required.
