Responsible for assembling various documents and/or customer provided materials into completed kits

2nd shift

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-assembly duties such as; prepping boxes stocking assembly area gathering materials and organizing work area
• Follow detailed procedures to perform routine packing work collating materials as necessary 
• Pick and package a variety of printed materials or related items that require a variety of packing procedures and techniques.  
• Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping in accordance with customer specifications 
• Count and sort inventory as required 
• May prepare shipments of customer samples.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Prior warehouse or kitting experience preferred
• Must have the ability to read and interpret job specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders.
• Basic communication skills (written and/or verbal).
• Basic knowledge of routine packing procedures techniques equipment and general warehouse procedures.
• Able to stock move arrange and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a higher-level employee. 
• Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description quantity unit of issue and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials.
• Skill in assembling standard shipping boxes and packing contents securely.
• Basic arithmetic to add subtract multiply and divide.
• Must be willing to flex schedule to meet the needs of production including working overtime or a different shift if needed.
• Must be able to use a ladder to pick items or to retrieve boxes or materials.

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $15.45. - $18.40/ hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon but not limited to: education skills experience proficiency performance shift and location. In addition to base salary depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential call-in and stand-by pay.
