Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for driving modernization & digital transformation across Corporate Services groups. This role will be part of the Corporate Architecture & Analytics team.
Responsibilities
- Influence information strategy by partnering with business & IT stakeholders rationalization of the information value chain & providing strategic recommendations
- Develop conceptual and physical data models as well as flow diagrams to illustrate current and future state architecture
- Analyze project program and portfolio needs as well as determine the resources needed to achieve objectives and overcome crossfunctional barriers.
- Act as subject matter expert on all aspects of the data architecture including data orchestration large data processing security & scalability
- Evangelize modern data approaches & technologies as well as Cloud architecture across the organization
- Guide and mentor development teams on modern data engineering & design best practices
- Establish good data modelling principles and effective data quality standards
- Strong communication and persuasion skills including the ability to create marketing and messaging materials that meet stakeholder needs.
Required Skills
- 10 years of experience building distributed data and analytics platforms in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Deep understanding of data warehouses lake houses & streaming solutions in Azure & Snowflake
- Expertise in Data modeling using dimension modelling & data vault methodologies
- Strong handson expertise in database & query performance tuning SQL queries and database best practices
- Strong experience with modern data engineering technologies such as python Spark Kafka Airflow
- Handson experience working with relational and NoSQL technologies (such as Oracle Postgres Mongo DB etc.
- Experience with Devops and CI/CD technologies (such as Github Actions Docker)
- Experience in financial industry or banking is a plus
Salary Range:
$USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
