Job Description
Summary
Are you an experienced and energetic Nanny We might have a great job opportunity for you!
You will be responsible for all duties related to the care of a threeyearold child creating a safe and nurturing environment in which the child can thrive and develop. Responsibilities also include general housekeeping laundry and running errands.
The residence is in Beaconsfield Quebec with travel to Florida for 2.5 months each fall.
Responsibilities
- Take care of the needs of the child.
- Ensure a healthy and safe environment for the child.
- Organize the whole day for the child.
- Coordinate the childs activities and accompany them in those activities.
- Organize various activities at home and outdoors.
- Provide a developmentally appropriate environment and educational games.
- Teach good manners and socially appropriate behavior.
- Organize sports and other activities that promote motor skills.
- Perform housekeeping chores such as cleaning tidying up and ironing.
Requirements
- Have a minimum of three 3 years of similar work experience.
- Must speak English and Spanish.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work outside the parameters of the job description.
- Flexibility in working days/hours as needed.
- Have a sense of initiative.
- Great sense of organization and attention to detail.
- Energetic with a high level of professional ethics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Being able to anticipate the needs of the child.
- Ability to propose appropriate solutions.
- Emotional stability and physical abilities adapted to the tasks.
- Must have CPR and First Aid (or willing to get certified).
- Have legal working status in Canada.
Additional Information
- Job type: Full time and permanent. Live out (accommodation provided when travelling).
- Working days: Monday to Friday (flexibility required).
- Working hours: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Three 3 weeks vacation.
