In this intern role we are looking for a student that is currently in school working towards their degree in Social WorkPsychology Sociology or other types of Human services degrees. In this internship the intern will be training onthe licensing and opening of new foster homesas well as working with foster parents and youth here at NYAP.
Responsibilities
Internship responsibilities vary and are based on the agreement between theeducational institutionand NYAP
Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Programs mission values and philosophies
Minimum Qualifications
Enrollment inan accredited educational program. Specifically Social Services or other Human Services degrees.
Specific qualifications will be based on internship details.
Proficientuseofdesktopandlaptopcomputerssmartphonesandtabletsprintersfaxmachinesandphotocopiersaswellassoftwareincludingwordprocessingspreadsheetanddatabaseprograms.
