Job Title: Adjuster Supervisor

Department: Production

Reports To: Shift Supervisor

Position Summary:

Assist Shift Supervisor with managing assigned shift focusing on key areas of safety quality production and communication.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

  • Position will perform job duties and responsibilities in the following key areas:
  • Safety
    • Enforce and monitor hourly daily monthly and yearly safety procedures are being followed.
    • Enforce hourly and daily housekeeping every day.
    • Maintain a clean & orderly production floor at all times.
      • Always be Tour Ready
    • Pre inspect the machines for any potential safety hazards before the start of their shift.
    • Report any unsafe behaviors to the Shift Supervisors.
    • Ensure the Adjusters are submitting work orders for any guarding issues.
    • Enforce GMP compliance.

  • Quality
    • Enforce and monitor hourly daily monthly and yearly quality procedure.
    • Report team member quality performance issues to Shift Supervisors.
    • Report any incoming raw material quality issues to the Supervisor.

  • Production
    • Enforce hourly board compliance.
    • Ensure manpower is allocated correctly before and during shift.
    • Communicate any raw material equipment or maintenance issues or needs to Shift Supervisors.
    • Audit roll changes to be certain roll changes are being executed in 3 minutes or less.
    • Monitor and address strip waste compliance issues.
    • Monitor and address plate return compliance issues.

  • Communication
    • Communicate accurate information (Safety Quality Production HR and

Maintenance) to Shift Supervisor.

    • Communicate scheduling changes to Adjusters and Shift Supervisor.
    • Communicate any team members concerns or ideas to the Shift Supervisor.

  • Follow all applicable food service policies and procedures.
  • Follow all PPE policies wearing steel toed shoes hearing protection safety glasses hair nets/beard nets etc. as required.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 25 years Adjuster Supervisor experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing 12 hours per shift
  • Climbing 6 hours per shift
  • Walking 12 hours per shift
  • Lifting 12 hours per shift 70 lbs. lifting required
  • Pulling and/or Pushing 4 hours per shift
  • Carrying 12 hours per shift 70 lbs. lifting required
  • Grasping 6 hours per shift
  • Reaching 12 hours per shift
  • Stooping and Crouching 3 hours per shift
  • Crawling/working in confined space 4 hours per shift
  • Color Determination required
  • Visual acuity required
