Minimum Qualifications
Must be authorized to work in Australia
Bachelors degree in geology metallurgy mining geosciences or a related field (MBA preferred but not essential).
Extensive experience in leading strategic sales processes and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
Proven track record in enterprise and strategic sales ideally in software or technology solutions for the mining and resources industries or related sectors.
Familiarity with drilling services in mining including exploration orebody definition drilling andrelated assaying services with an associated understanding of the instrumentation that is utilized for enhancing value.
Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy and : Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve global and local revenue targets. Identify key market segments and customer needs to shape sales strategies. Provide accurate revenue forecasts and track performance against targets. Use Monday CRM to log activities track pipeline growth and monitor performance. Track key performance metrics including revenue per person win rates trialtoconversion rates. Collaborate with internal experts for project scoping client discussions and solution demonstrations. Collaborate with internal experts on product knowledge customer education project case studies and lead generation.
2. Business Development and Relationship Management: Build relationships with Clevel executives and other key decision makers in mining and resources. Find new business opportunities through networking leveraging existing contacts and industry events. Work with marketing operations and product teams to align sales strategies and project delivery. Coordinate with the global Commercial team on shared goals. Partner with Boart Longyear Drilling Services to drive crosssell and upsell opportunities.
3. Market Expansion and Revenue Growth: Find and prioritize key regions countries and accounts to focus on for growth. Create and launch strategies to introduce new products and expand into new areas. Stay updated on industry trends competitor actions and customer feedback to guide product and strategy choices.
4. Contract Negotiation and Deal Management: Lead and prepare all commercial proposals with support from peer level VPGC and EVPGC. Lead contract negotiations and manage the commercial process from start to finish. Collaborate with global EVPC legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with policies. Ensure customer satisfaction by understanding their needs and overseeing smooth implementation and support.
