Job Description
Charleston Payroll is looking for ambitious interns who desire to contribute to a growing dedicated sales team. Work sidebyside with professional sales consultants and learn how to sell and market to local and regional businesses.
Gain handson experience with:
Inbound marketing
- Business profiling: Analyze industry trends and demographic data to discover important key issues affecting target clients. Information gathering consisting of web analysis business journal discovery speaking with current clients and cold calls. Problem solving is the ultimate objective for businesses that fit our profile.
- Blog posts: Assist the sales and marketing teams with ideas for blog posts.
- Social media posts: Assist the sales and marketing teams with ideas for social media posts. Take pictures and write captions that engage our followers and provide valuable information.
Outbound marketing
- Networking events: Go to local networking events (inperson or virtual) and increase company visibility. Learn how to increase your network reach. Gain experience meeting new people introducing yourself and the company and giving an elevator pitch about what you represent.
- Sales calls: Learn how to properly cold call businesses to see how our company may be an asset to their unique business needs.
- Referral partner relationships: Contribute to fostering strong relationships with our referral partners.
Crossselling
- Reach out to current clients via phone or email to educate them about the services we offer that they may not be aware of.
- Demonstrate new services to existing clients via video conferences.
Client surveying
- Survey existing clients via phone and email on the services theyve received.
- Take notes on the clients needs and how were meeting their expectations.
