Functions as part of a flexible and versatile group in order to provide work where needed as needed.Job Description
- Follows safe operating procedures
- Maintain 7S standards
- Performs TPM activities as required
- Review and follows quality process and operator instructions
- Perform quality checks as required and accurately records using Plexus or required method.
- Identifies contains and generates Discrepant Material Report (DMR) for any nonconforming material and forwards to the Material Review Board (MRB)
- Communicates with coworkers from the previous and following shifts to discuss problems and concerns
- Insures operation runs at required production rate. Notifies Team Leader or equivalent when this does not occur
- Accurately reports production and s using Factivity or required method
- Actively participates in continuous improvement activities
- Performs data reporting such as production and s using both paper and computerized systems as required
- Moves product by using barrels with a barrel cart or totes which may weigh up to 40 pounds
- May be required to work in a variety of jobs as documented below (MAIII positions). This position rotates among jobs on a routine basis
- Complete other tasks within job classification as assigned
- Assists other employees as directed by the Team Leader and / or Supervisor
- Will require operator to obtain fork lift certification.
Required Skills and Education
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
EXPERIENCE:
- Know what it takes to have a safe workplace
- TS16949 Quality Systems Requirements
- ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems
- Problem Solving
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Will require operator to obtain fork lift certification
EQUIPMENT:
- Refractometer
- Hyster (Forklift)
- Hardness Tester
- Automated Inspection equipment
