Job Summary
Advise the allcampus student programming board Radford Student Programming and Campus Events (RSPaCE). Provide support for clubs and organizations through the management and marketing of the Club Hub resource space administrative management of the online communication platform RU Involved for clubs/organizations creating and implementing workshops and seminars for student clubs and organizations and by reviewing and updating student club and organization policies procedures and publications. Assist with the coordination of departmental programs and events. Supervise the graduate student staff who advise the student media groups assist with organizing departmental events and manage departmental marketing social media and website development. Supervise student staff who staff the Club Hub.
Required Qualifications
A positive energetic and studentcentered professional who has a demonstrated record of leadership event planning and strong student advising skills; A strong understanding of the value of the role of student activities within a university environment and the ability to apply student development principles and learning outcomes theories; Experience with and knowledge of supervisory practices and principles; experience in recruiting hiring training and managing employees; Expertise in new student training techniques and leadership development. Demonstrated application of effective assessment strategies strong communication and marketing skills; Experience in managing multiple budgets and strong organizational skills in handling multiple priorities within established timelines; Strong interpersonal and creative problemsolving skills as well as cultural competence a collaborative approach and a learning mindset are a must.
Preferred Qualifications
Postmasters experience in student activities student media event planning and/or major campus programming. Involvement in professional higher educational associations (i.e. NASPA ACUI NACA ACPA
