Position:Oklahoma Christian University (OC) is experiencing growth in its Masters in Human Sciences programs and needs a pool of qualified adjunct faculty and clinical Marriage and Family Therapy supervisors that support the schools mission. The successful candidate will serve in oncampus and online adjunct faculty roles. Programs include:
- Graduate Programs in Human Sciences courses (oncampus OR online). These include:
- Marriage and Family Therapy
- Marriage and Family Therapy Clinical Skills or Supervision Courses
- Family Life Education
- Family Life Education Skills or Supervision Courses
- Trauma Informed Family Support Certificate Courses
- Possible future courses in Health and Human Services Administration
Primary Qualifications: - Masters degree required; Ph.D. in Human Sciences Marriage and Family Therapy or Family Life Education preferred
- Professional or academic experience in the coursework needing your teaching or supervision support.
- StudentCentered (Constructivist) teaching philosophy.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and the ability to communicate and positively engage students and colleagues across racial gender and cultural barriers.
- A successful candidate must be an active member of a local church.
Primary Responsibilities: - Set up a course in Blackboard.
- Modify and post the course syllabus.
- Teach courses.
- Grade student work and provide feedback. Post final grades.
- Regularly communicate with students.
- Supervision appointments will require both regularly scheduled individual or group supervision and/or holding the role of attending supervisor during clinic nights.
Salary and Benefits: - Salary commensurate with the degree level.
