Job Description
Kahills Chophouse located in South Sioux City is seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. The right candidate will help maintain an efficient profitable and professional work environment in all areas of the food and beverage operation.
Responsibilities:
- Follow directions from Kahills General Manager
- Perform upscale dining room management
- Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals by holdingthe team accountable to service standards
- Supports and communicates business initiatives
- Work closely with the Culinary Team to ensure proper for events and daily dining
- Executes primary relationships with business clients staff members and partners
- Work with Sales and Events Team to ensure client satisfaction at all events
- Ensure the team collectively stays relevant with industry trends and advancements
- Ensure menu/beverage/facility knowledge of staff
- Ensure proper training on quality and service standards and have the tools & equipment to carry out their job functions effectively.
- Promotes a cooperative work climate maximizing productivity and morale
- Interviews hires trains and develops team members
- Provide inthemoment coaching and ongoing development for every member of your team to ultimately ensure an exceptional guest experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry and a management position
- Has strong attention to detail
- Ability to assist in leading and developing a team.
- Able to communicate effectively with the management team guests and team members
- English reading writing math and computer skills required
- Must be able to reach lift stoop bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout the shift
- Must be able to work extended shifts if necessary
- Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts
