Position Summary: The CSEC Advocate is critical to WEAVEs antihuman trafficking efforts and provides direct supportive services and advocacy for Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) and atrisk youth in Sacramento County. Primary duties include establishing and maintaining a presence at several community locations to build trusted relationships with youth and community partners providing crisis intervention safety planning and emergency supplies to youth facilitating peer support groups and offering strengthsbased case management when position supports youth and children who have experienced domestic and sexual violence which may include exposure to emotionally challenging situations. Shifts are business hours Monday through Friday; in person services are required.

Work environment is primarily an office setting and community partner locations including emergency shelters respite centers and longterm housing for youth. Local travel (driving) will be required to attend offsite meetings and provide services. Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs. extend both arms above the head and/or reach below the waist stoop squat crawl bend the back to retrieve items climb stairs or use an elevator. Employee may also need to remain in one position (i.e. sitting or standing) for an extended period of time while completing work tasks. Must be able to efficiently operate a keyboard and mouse or adaptive equivalent write reports take notes; utilize desk tools such as phones or calculators and utilize larger office equipment such as printers and copy machines. Communicate clearly and concisely to others. Apply above average reasoning and detail as required in the accomplishment of job duties.
