DeBraKuempel Inc. is a leading provider of mechanical electrical and plumbing services to Cincinnati Dayton Columbus Evansville Lexington Louisville Eastern Kentucky and the surrounding areas. We deliver our services through the full lifecycle including design build and new construction major repairs and replacements and ongoing preventive services. DeBraKuempel is wholly owned by EMCOR Group Inc. a national provider of mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services including planning consulting and operations and maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To best meet the needs of our Organization and Customers the ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from start to finish
- Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning organizing and scheduling work
- Prepare scope letters and proposals
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines budgets and resource allocation
- Coordinate with clients subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements are understood and met
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project status quality of work and compliance with safety regulations
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects implementing corrective measures when necessary
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders ensuring they are informed of progress and issues
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully the ideal candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Minimum of 5 years experience in project management within the construction industry
- Proven ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively
- Strong knowledge of construction processes project management tools and safety regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a proactive positive teambased style
- Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to potential issues
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management is a plus but not required
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Teams Outlook Word and Excel)
