Job Description
Feldkamp Enterprises Inc a Marsden Holding Company is a NonUnion Mechanical Contractor. We are currently looking for experienced Welder/Pipefitters
The ideal candidate will have 3 5 years of experience in commercial welding and pipefitting. General knowledge requirements:
Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors during all weather conditions.
Work may be performed at heights above 20 feet in the air.
Must have reliable transportation to/from the jobs sites and be able to pass a preemployment drug screen.
Location:
This job does require travelling across the greater Dayton and Cincinnati areas (sites will vary based on the job)
Requirements:
- 3 5 years of experience in commercial welding and pipefitting.
- VRF certification is preferred.
- For safety reasons basic English proficiency is required
- A preemployment drug screenis required.
- You must have a valid drivers license.
- OSHA 10 or 30Certification.
- Journeyman License is a plus!
General knowledge requirements:
- Ability to read understand and install according to blueprints.
- Ability to lay out and fit pipe together.
- Ability to weld pipe in all positions (standing kneeling etc.
- Ability to weld a variety of pipe (stainless carbon steel etc.
- Ability to sweat and braze copper.
- Ability to perform installation of hangers and supports.
- Ability to use roll groove machine.
Job Duties:
- Cuts pipe using hacksaw pipe cutter hammer and chisel cutting torch and pipe cutting machine.
- Threads pipe using threading machine.
- Bends pipe by hand or with pipebending tools and machine.
- Tests piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks.
- Observes and complies with all safety and project rules and all company policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as required.
