As an advanced organ disease center our multidisciplinary team of physicians and experts treat complex organ failure with livesaving procedures like the implantation of ventricular assist devices (VAD) and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) as well as organ transplantation.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The speechlanguage pathologist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients. In this role you will perform patient evaluation development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan delivery of treatment services and comprehensive discharge planning.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Education/Accreditation/Licensure (required & preferred):

  • Licensed or eligible in Kentucky
  • Masters or Doctorate of SpeechLanguage Pathology degree
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCSLP) or in the process of pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFYSLP)

Certification:

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters or Doctorate of SpeechLanguage Pathology degree
