4on4off shift pattern covering day and night shifts between 6am6pm / 6pm6am
We are currently recruiting for Operatives to join our Minsterley site to be a part of Mullers UK Manufacturing Operator team producinga quality product and meeting specifications according to laid down procedures in the most efficient way.
Your Responsibilities as a Filling Production Operative:
- To operate and run designated lines to achieve daily targets
- Operating manufacturing machinery
- Carrying out basic routine maintenance of machinery (mechanical aptitude is essential)
- Prompt fault finding and timely corrective action or escalation to minimise machine/plant down time
- Maintaining the hygienic standards of the production environment and general housekeeping of the working area
- A proactive approach to all matters concerning Health & Safety
- Having a flexible approach to your work arrangements
Key skills & experience:
- Previous machine experience from within a fast moving production environment
- Relevant food manufacturing qualification/experience would be advantageous
- Mechanical Handling Equipment experience and knowledge
- Ability to work well within a team
- Good communicator verbally and written
