Job Description

We are looking to hire a dedicated and observant Interstate Maintenance/Traffic Control Technician.

To be successful in this position you should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Ultimately a topnotch Technician should demonstrate sound knowledge of state traffic regulations as well as haveexceptional observationorganizational and problemsolving skills

We have entry level positions open.
Traffic Control experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
Servicing an Interstate general maintenance & incident response contract.
Day to day activities include but are not limited to driving TMAs & Pickups to perform the following tasks on the interstate
Remove debris
Pothole repair
Cutting trees
Removing dead animals
Litter pickup
Working as part of a team.
Working in harsh weather conditions.

Incident Response:
Providing traffic control for emergency responders on the interstate 24/7.
Setting up shoulder/lane closures
Shutting down on/off ramps
Shutting down the interstate
Marking damage
Cutting guardrail

On call rotation week on week off.
Storm standby during adverse weather events.

Location: Sandston Virginia near 295&64

Must be a licensed driver for at least 3 years.
Must have good driving record.
