Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized person to join our team! The ideal candidate will assist in providing administrative support to the healthcare team and ensure efficient operations of the clinic including sending out pertinent reports and covering both our Bronx & Brooklyn medical sites when needed.


Essential Functions:

Works with medical team to answer and log incoming court orders.

Schedule patient appointments and manage the onsite clinic schedule.

Monitors and updates weekly external patient appointment clinic schedule.

Send out pertinent morning and evening reports daily to healthcare providers and ACS staff.

Assist healthcare providers with creating same day appointment schedules.

Collaborates with ACS staff on specific inquiries and directs ACS staff questions to the Program Director Nurse Director or Medical Director.

Coordinates movement of medical charts and medication with medical staff and driver.

Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy organization and confidentiality.

Maintain daily report logs.

Handle phone calls emails and other forms of communication with medical and ACS

team.

Must have keen eye for detail especially when dealing with a high volume of

documentation.

Must be able to focus in a dynamic or bustling setting.

Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications: Must have a minimum of a high school diploma and two years of college or associate degree. Must have at least 2 years of working as an Administrative Assistant or similar secretarial role. Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred. Previous experience in juvenile legal system is preferred but not required Effective interpersonal and communication abilities; Proficiency in computer skills Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Salary Description
$27.47 per hour.
