Job Description

Under the direction and supervision of the Facilities and TransportationDirector the custodian/maintenanceperson is responsible for maintaining the physical school building in a condition that ensures students staff and visitorshave an environment that is safe clean and healthy.

This is a fulltime 40 hours per week) 12month position. Normal shift hours are from 3:3012 midnight. Monday Friday. The shift hours may be adjusted during times when school is not in session.

Qualifications/Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent.

Physicallyable to bend stoop reach and climb ladders

Must be punctual dependable honest and reliable.

Must pass a criminal background check before employment

Must have or obtain a Protection Gods Childrenfrom the Archdioceseof Detroit.

Responsibilities/Duties

Sweep classrooms

Clean Cafe

Empty trash cans

Clean restrooms

Vacuum carpets

Wash windows

Buff floors

Other duties as assigned.
