To plan conduct and direct development/evaluation of approved scientific and engineering projects with minimal supervision in an electrical engineering discipline to increase technical knowledge and provide solutions. This position typically conducts work as part of a research program under the supervision of a Program Manager.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Education: PhD in electrical engineering OR MS 5 years of related experience OR BS 8 years
Experience:
5 years of design and/or operation & maintenance experience on electrical/power generation (including renewables) equipment (such as generators transformers wind solar and battery energy storage).
Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines is necessary.
Exposure to power electronics electrical system studies and modeling is desired.
Engineering or research in special area of electrical engineering commanding industry recognition or leading to publication as author of original work in peer review journal is a plus.
Skills:
Compensation Grade and Job Title will be determined based on qualifications experience and technical skillset.
