Job Description
Job Title: NAS Production Support Engineer NetApp Specialist
Location: Pune/ Hyderabad
Job Type: Fulltime / Contract
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled NAS Production Support Engineer with expertise in NetApp NAS infrastructure to join our team. In this role you will design document and support logical and physical NAS layouts ensure system security and compliance and troubleshoot complex issues. The ideal candidate will have strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently in a 24x7 support environment including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Plan and Support: Configure logical and physical NAS (NetApp) layouts ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Installation & Configuration: Provide guidance on the installation and configuration of NetApp software packages to meet business requirements.
- Solution Standards: Develop and participate in the implementation of NASlevel solution standards to enhance performance and reliability.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure that all solutions and deployments comply with applicable security standards and policies.
- Cost Optimization: Develop NetApp solutions focused on reducing operating costs while enhancing guest and crew experiences.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve complex NAS issues independently perform root cause analysis and communicate changes and issues effectively with clients and team members.
- OnCall Support: Be available for 24x7 support and weekend oncall rotations as needed to address critical issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 5 years of experience in NAS (NetApp) design support and administration.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of NetApp infrastructure installation configuration and troubleshooting.
- ProblemSolving: Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex NASrelated issues.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with security standards and ensuring compliance in solutions and deployments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members effectively.
- Availability: Flexibility for 24x7 support and oncall rotation including weekends.
