Job Description
Overview
Pediatrix has the opportunity for a fulltime pediatrician to join our highrisk NICU followup clinic!
Responsibilities
Our pediatricians and nurse practitioners are experienced in caring for children from infancy through age 4 who may be at risk of developing special health care needs. As a highrisk NICU followup clinic our practice collaborates with pediatricians and other community providers to facilitate optimal developmental support early intervention family support and specialized care while also offering additional support and education for parents and caregivers. These hospitalbased outpatient clinics will be located at Methodist Childrens Hospital North Central Baptist Hospital and Christus Childrens Hospital.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable seeing babies who have just come out of the NICU and require followup care.
Job Details:
- Hospitalbased outpatient clinic setting
- MondayFriday 8am5pm schedule
- No weekends no call
- Manageable patient volume
- Limited developmental testing
