Position Summary
Guggenheim Securities is seeking a summer intern to join its Finance team in New York. The ideal candidate should possess analytical capabilities as well as strong written and oral communication skills. Furthermore this person will need to be able to multitask while managing expectations in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
This internship is part of Guggenheims Corporate Intern program which includes exposure across the firm through education mentorship networking and community service outreach events. As an Intern you will also be exposed to senior management gain an understanding of the financial services industry and learn critical business skills.
Essential Job Functions
The Finance department serves as a critical business function that is responsible for all aspects of finance including reporting and forecasting revenue expenses profitability balance sheet and cash flow metrics. Subfunctions include accounting FP&A regulatory & risk treasury management accounts payable/receivable compensation etc.
