Job Description
- Lead financial planning and risk analysis to support business growth.
- Maintain financial integrity by ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulations.
- Set financial targets and mentor the internal accounting team.
- Oversee audits internal controls and tax planning.
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance on key financial initiatives and reporting.
- Manage and oversee the outsourced accounting team ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Oversee intercompany transfers and reconciliations across 10 legal entities.
- Manage weekly inventory postings monthly financial closes and balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely payroll processing and benefits allocation.
- Lead corporate credit card reconciliation and vendor payment processes.
- Manage sales & use tax audits and payroll tax audits.
- Prepare financial reports for ownership operations and finance leadership.
- 5 years of progressive experience in accounting with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Prior experience as an Accounting Manager Controller or Director is required.
- Experience managing outsourced accounting services is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting reconciliations and tax compliance.
- Experience in multiunit hospitality retail or F&B accounting is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Restaurant 365 Sage) and payroll systems.
- Excellent analytical leadership and problemsolving skills.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Fulltime exempt position with office hours of 9am6pm MondayThursday remote Fridays
