Cherokee Casino West Siloam Springs is searching for a dynamic Card Games Shift Manager to oversee our exciting card room operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee your team of card dealers and supervisors ensuring theyre playing their best game.
- Determine the most important tasks for your team and schedule work accordingly.
- Develop your teams skills through training feedback and guidance.
- Supervise the planning and evaluation of poker and table game operations.
- Protect company funds and assets like a dragon guarding its treasure.
- Ensure everyone is playing by the rules both company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Find ways to improve operations and make recommendations to management.
- Create and manage your departments budget for the fiscal year.
- Collaborate with other departments to create new and exciting gaming experiences.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records including opening and closing paperwork and daily logs.
- Ensure all necessary equipment is functioning properly. (ATM Ticket Redemption etc.
Qualifications
- Were looking for someone with a minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 5 years of experience in a similar blend of education and relevant experience will do the trick!
- Welldeveloped money handling skills with a passion for order and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Proficient with basic office equipment computers and basic computer programs utilized in daily operations (Excel Word Outlook etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to make decisions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
