The Opportunity
The wellrounded Physical Therapy team at Rumford Community Home long term care facility is growing!
This is a per diem flexible schedule position!
This position makes a direct positive impact on the Western Foothills community by providing oneonone physical therapy services to the residents of our longterm care facility.
We are an 85bed active living community offering residential care secured dementia care skilled rehabilitation and longterm care nursing services. We provide medical care 24hour personal care private and shared rooms a full calendar of events and activities laundry housekeeping and delicious meals. Our goal is to deliver compassionate care to you or your loved one in an affordable allinclusive environment.

What Youll Do
Evaluates patients and develops a comprehensive treatment plan to restore patients to their maximum functional potential.
Directs therapeutic intervention for the restoration of patients functioning to prevent disability following injury disease or physical disability.
Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Provides treatment and instruction to patients according to acceptable principles and practices of Physical Therapy.
Collaborates as a member of the health care team for the provision of comprehensive patient care.
Consistent with training and competency review provides care to geriatric patients at Rumford Community Home.
Regulatory Requirements:
Current State Physical Therapy Licensure.
Current BCLS certification.
Rumford Region: Rumford Maine located in Maines Oxford County is a beautiful rural area filled with trees streams and mountains. The town is and is surrounded by forests mountains rivers and lakes. This area boasts many recreational opportunities for boating swimming hiking camping skiing and fishing; and its also home to the largest waterfall east of Niagara.
