The School District of Cambridge located in Dane and Jefferson Counties adjacent to the City of Madison WI seeks a new Superintendent to lead the district beginning July 1 2025. Applicants should apply immediately the position is open through March 28 interviews will be scheduled as applications are received first round interviews with the Board will occur in early April.

The School District of Cambridge is a highly regarded Early Childhood 4K12 district and serves a 909 student population with an operating budget of approximately $18 million. Covering nine municipalities the district is a hub of the community with connections to a variety of organizations and groups as well as serving as the foundation to a bestinclass community recreation department.

The School District of Cambridge is composed of four comprehensive schools: one EC to 5 elementary one 68 middle school one 912 high school and one 712 environmental charter school. The physical footprint is comprised of four campuses inclusive of an 80 acre outdoor learning center and two school forests. District demographics are reported as 26 economically disadvantaged 18 students with special needs in a homogeneous population with less than 8 minority groups. Cambridge proudly offers a wellbalanced blend of academics arts and cocurriculars in a welcoming learning environment for students parents and community members. The district commits to preparing students who can learn from the past achieve in the present and envision the future.

The Superintendent works with an active Board of Education consisting of seven elected members and two student representatives and serves a supportive and involved community that has high expectations for its schools. In addition the Superintendent leads a team of outstanding educators and staff who are deeply dedicated to the academic success and wellbeing of students.
