The team
The Senior Accountant in Business Services plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive accounting and financial services to clients.
The primary purpose of this position is to manage client engagements mentor and train less experienced team members and deliver highquality accounting solutions to meet clients needs. The Senior Accountant ensures accurate financial reporting compliance with regulatory requirements and provides valuable insights to support clients business growth and success.
Our Business Services team has the combined skills and expertise to provide ongoing support in the financial management business and to help put strategies in place to achieve success. We provide assistance and support to help our clients through every stage of the business lifecycle from starting their business improving performance and obtaining the best outcome for every business transaction including valuations due diligence and deal advice.
About You:
As the ideal candidate you should possess:
A tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field (mandatory)
CA/CPA qualification (preferred)
Experience training and mentoring less experienced team members
Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel
Previous handson experience with Xero Xero Practice Management and FYI Docs (advantageous)
Over 3 years of experience in public accounting or industry roles
Excellent diligence adept time management and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Aptitude for both independent work and collaborative teamwork
Eagerness for continuous learning
