About the role

Your role will be to manage and grow a portfolio of high net worth clients that fit the Major Agricultural Clients (MAC) definition across the Region in accordance with Bank and Regional goals for client satisfaction credit quality and profitability.

Drive balance sheet and revenue growth in the Regions MAC portfolio to contribute to achieving the overall business plans/strategy of the Region whilst maintaining acceptable credit standards through the business cycle.

• Having an exceptional understanding of the competitive environment in the market
• Proactively engaging with clients prospects and other relevant stakeholders
• Meeting the strategic objectives of the Region and Country Banking Australia
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement.
• Engaging with our external clients and translating their story into tangible business and strategic insights

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive experience in a Banking role with direct client exposure to larger clients.
• Ideally a thorough understanding of major agricultural clients gained through experience.
• An impressive understanding of the rural industry
• Strong credit and risk skills
• Knowledge of specialised financial products
• Strong team player
