POSITIONS: We offer a few position types to give you the depth of experience to develop a variety of skill sets.


1. School Position (Hiring Now for 202525 School Year)

  • Location: We have longterm relationships with public districts & charter schools K12 throughout the entire PhoenixMetro.
  • Develop knowledge and skills in an educational setting where youll learn to collaborate with other educators while following a school schedule and enjoy school breaks.
  • Direct services following the individualized education plans (IEP) for children with various communication disabilities such as expressive/receptive language socialpragmatics articulation/phonology social communication fluency cognitive disabilities Autism and more.

2. Hybrid Pediatric Position

  • Location: Pediatric Clinic in Tempe Schools Valleywide and Home ServicesValleywide.
  • Enjoy a variety of settings and tap into different skillsets needed for each clinical experience.
  • A combination of schools clinic & home settings
  • Develop deep clinical skills where youll work closely with our collaborative and supportive team of multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic care with our pediatric clients.
  • Strong interest in working with Autistic children using a strengthsbased approach.

3. Outpatient Position

  • Location: Pediatric Clinic in Tempe and Home ServicesValley wide.
  • Build strong clinical competencies while treating pediatric clients oneonone in clinic and home settings.
  • Collaborate with our dynamic team and dive deep into clinical excellence! Youll collaborate closely with our friendly and supportive group of multidisciplinary professionals. Together youll provide comprehensive holistic care to our pediatric clients making a real difference in their lives.
  • Assess diagnose treat a variety of disability types and their communication difficulties such as expressive/receptive language delay social communication fluency cognitive disabilities feeding disorders etc.
  • Strong interest in working with Autistic children using a strengthsbased approach.

COMPENSATION

At Mariposa we provide comprehensive employment that includes a a full suite of benefits resources and support. The salary range for this SLPA position is $43600 to $63732 per year. The range varies based on experience location and setting. Compensation may be structured as an hourly rate or a persession depending on the service environment (e.g. clinic school or homebased). Final pay rates will be determined based on qualifications and the specific demands of the role.

Requirements

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide evidencebased therapeutic interventions for clients or students with a variety of disabilities to remediate improve or alleviate areas of need and increase participation in home community and school.
  • Use of creative and engaging ideas to increase clients attention and motivation.
  • Assess and regularly reevaluate client/student progress and revise the plan of care or IEP as necessary.
  • Submit accurate daily quarterly clinical notes regarding patient or student evaluation and attainment of goals using a webbased documentation system.
  • Monitoring of client or student reactions to treatment or changes in condition discussing changes with the patient/family/ team and reporting changes as necessary.
  • Assisting the caregivers families school teams or other personnel in providing continuity of care.
  • Participate and share in the development of the clients total multidisciplinary plan of care.
  • Demonstrate positive rapport with families caregivers and staff.
  • Complying with federal state and local legal and certification requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
