Job Description
Responsibilities
Noblis MSDs mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) in their missions to enable research development test and evaluation acquisition engineering systems integration inservice and fleet engineering with cybersecurity comprehensive logistics and lifecycle savings. Noblis MSD is seeking a Electrical Engineer to support U.S. Navy Submarine Hull Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) programs. You will provide engineering and technical assistance support in the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
The Electrical Engineer is a full time position and will consist work at a government facility in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The position will facilitate leading the development of Navy system lab and shipboard system for surface ship combatants with NAVSEA Philadelphia.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyze and develop lab requirements
- Facilitate developing lab space requests and build out
- Develop technical requirements for ship configuration and Build out of Materials
- Assist in technical manual development
- Assist in fleet implementation and fielding plans
- Develop and execute test plans
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
- Familiarity with MATLAB
- Work on engineering drawings
- US citizen with a DOD Secret clearance prefered or the ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Previous internship with the US Navy
- Configuration Management concepts and lockdowns
- 10 travel may be required
- General Windows OS experience (Install/Configure/Troubleshoot)
- Physical requirements ability to lift 35Ibs

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors including but not limited to the combination of education certifications knowledge skills competencies and experience internal and external equity location clearance level as well as contractspecific affordability organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this positionis based on full time status. For part time or oncall staff compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important its just one component of Noblis total compensation package.
