Responsibilities

  • Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
  • Prepare tax and title documents after sales.
  • Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
  • Verify customer funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications.
  • Check for accuracy in the application and ensure that all information is complete.
  • Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and tradeins.
  • Bill out all dealer trades and prepare Certificates of Origin.
  • Maintain a system to verify outofstate titles.
  • Prepare monthly reports for outstanding titles funds or incomplete title information.
  • Prepares stock cards for new and used vehicles.
  • Post vehicle sales and purchases.
  • Process all vehicle warranties and extended service contracts maintaining a log of all contracts processed and mailed.
  • Processes yearly renewal of dealer tags in conjunction with the CFO.
  • Stay up to date on title regulations.
  • Update the appropriate team members on titlerelated regulations.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1yearadministrative experience is required.
  • Notary experience is preferred.
  • Must be highly organized and detailoriented.
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work independently with little direction.
  • Must possess excellent time management skills.
  • Must possess strong computer skills.
  • Must be willing to participate in a preemployment background check & drug screening.
  • Must possess a valid Drivers License.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements

  • Sedentary work lifting no more than 10 pounds occasionally.
  • Walking Standing occasionally.
  • Must be able to read write and give repetitive motion of the wrists hands and/or fingers.
  • Requires the ability to visually inspect documents.
