Job Description
For our client a provider of smart home solutions we are currently looking for a:
SUPPORT AND PROJECT ENGINEER (M/F/D)
Your main responsibilities:
- Programming of projects including coordination and validation of technical specifications with the customer project programming and documentation. The goal is to deliver a programmed and functional solution according to customer requirements.
- Commissioning of sample rooms together with the operations team to present a fully functional solution to the customer.
- Providing support maintenance and handling technical inquiries throughout the entire lifecycle of the project/product to resolve technical issues and ensure excellent customer service.
- Actively reporting identified needs to the project department to continuously improve products solutions and programming systems.
- Managing integrations with local software in collaboration with the HQ team to foster partnerships with other industry players.
- Ensuring uptodate work processes to facilitate onboarding for new team members.
- Providing technical consultation to the sales team regarding programming capabilities to ensure that proposed solutions can actually be implemented.
- Conducting beta tests for products/solutions to be integrated into new versions ensuring that developed solutions meet customer requirements.
- Completed studies (Bachelor Master) in Engineering (Industrial or similar) or an equivalent qualification in a technical field.
- Alternatively: Completed training as an electronics technician and ideally further education as a certified technician (Bachelor Professional) master craftsman or a comparable qualification.
- Strong knowledge of KNX.
- Experience with DALI and network configuration.
- Basic knowledge of Linux.
- Fluent level Japanese and fluent English.
