Job Description
This position offers a leadership opportunity in a dynamic healthcare environment with a focus on patientcentered care staff development and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of Labor and Delivery Postpartum and Nursery/NICU units
- Ensure safe highquality and efficient patient care
- Develop implement and assess policies procedures and performance goals
- Manage department budgets and ensure financial efficiency
- Provide leadership mentorship and performance evaluations for nursing staff
- Lead hiring recruitment and training efforts
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to drive strategic initiatives
- Current RN Licensure in North Carolina
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution (BSN preferred)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification
- Masters degree (highly preferred)
- At least 2 years of management experience
