Your mission
- Create review and process freight documents such as waybills invoices delivery notes and customs documents
- Book cargo space with shipping companies and freight forwarders
- Organise pickup and delivery of freight to and from ports
- Monitor delivery times and coordinate shipping and arrival schedules
- Track and monitor sea freight shipments to ensure they arrive on time and in good condition
- Resolve transportation issues and delays
- Monitor transport costs and ensure compliance with budgets
- Identify opportunities to optimise costs
- Ensure that all import and export processes meet regulatory requirements
Your profile
- Several years of professional experience in the supply chain
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Experience in the import and export processing of sea freight shipments
- Knowledge of customs clearance and international trade
- Experience working with shipping companies freight forwarders and customs authorities
- An understanding of international trade regulations and customs requirements
- Good knowledge of sea freight processes and documentation
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills that enable you to solve transportation issues and optimise costs
- Proficiency using logistics software and MS Office applications
- A highly reliable and accurate way of working
- The ability to work in a team and collaborate with a range of stakeholders
- Resilience and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- A customeroriented mindset and the ability to understand and meet customer needs
- Willingness to undertake further training and stay uptodate with changes in international trade regulations
