Job Purpose & Overview
As a Consultant at FAI you will be working closely with Client Account Managers and functional leads within the business to support FAIs strategic consultancy research data gathering and reporting programmes. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic multidisciplinary team committed toimproving livestock and aquaculture food system resilience through global consultancy and digital solutions for food brands and producers.
This hybrid role will involve working across both the science and technical as well as data integrity and reporting areas within the consultancy team. The science and technical function is responsible for the production of literature reviews technical client briefings and benchmarking on areas such as animal welfare carbon reduction regenerative agriculture certification standards and horizon scanning across the 3Es (ethics economics and environment). The data integrity and reporting function is responsible for the collection and reporting of supply chain data across our client portfolio. Data are collected on our survey assessment and outcome measures platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of livestock farming and/or food supply chains. They will responsible for following our supply chain data collection processes data checking and analysis and the supporting data programme administration. The role will involve approximately 2 days per week working with the Data team with the remaining 3 days per week supporting delivery within the Science and Technical Team.
The position is home based within the UK with travel as required to meet the needs of the business
