Job Description
Angott Search Group is excited to partner with a Michigan credit union in their search for their next CEO.The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the driving force behind the credit union steering its strategic vision overseeing daily operations and ensuring longterm success. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors the CEO is committed to advancing the credit unions mission by providing outstanding financial services to members while promoting innovation growth and operational excellence.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Expertise in financial accounting budgeting forecasting and risk management to ensure the credit unions financial health and regulatory compliance.
- Deep understanding of credit union operations financial management and regulatory compliance including direct experience working with credit union examiners and regulatory agencies.
- Proven ability to develop and implement innovative strategies that drive growth enhance member value and ensure longterm financial sustainability.
- Comprehensive knowledge of emerging trends in financial technology digital banking and member experience enhancements with the ability to drive digital transformation and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to lead inspire and develop highperforming teams while fostering a culture of engagement accountability and continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with members employees the Board of Directors regulators and community partners.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Economics or a related field.
- Masters degree or advanced certifications preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in the financial services industry preferably within a credit union or banking environment.
- Previous CFO experience preferred.
