Nikkiso ACDis an engineering and manufacturing company specializing in machinery designed to operate at cryogenic temperatures as low as 420 degrees Fahrenheit the boiling point of Liquid hydrogen. For over 50 years Nikkiso ACD has specialized in centrifugal and reciprocating pumps as well as turbines for air separation. Nikkiso ACD has the most diversified product line in the industry covering nearly every application requiring pumps or turboexpanders.

This position is based out of Nikkiso ACD located in Santa Ana CA.

The Controller responsibilities include aligning with management on key initiatives financial reporting analysis budget and forecasting.

• Assist the accounting team with financial close process and monthly reporting and analysis
• Review and approve JEs and reconciliations as per JSox requirements.
• Prepare and analyze actual financial results with appropriate comparison to historical performance.
• Monitor performance indicators highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
• Assist in the preparation of month end reporting and other various presentations.
• Assist with budgeting forecasting reporting and analyzing efforts.
• Assist with the development of modeling tools for monthend forecasts and budgets.
• Assist with the preparation of periodic cash flows business activity reports and financial position forecasts.
• Prepare and analyze complex financial and operational data and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations for decisionmaking purposes and strategic initiatives.
• Analyze and interpret information to develop actionable recommendations that impact the business.
• Provide insights and recommendations on cash flow cost identification and allocation and risk management.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all adhoc analyses and reports metrics and dashboards.
• Assist with documenting processes and procedures.
• Cost Accounting as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Familiarity with the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
• Intermediate / Advanced Excel competency is required
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Work Environmental and Physical Demands:

In order to perform the duties of this job the employee may be required to stand walk sit reach with hands and arms climb or balance stoop or kneel talk and hear and use fingers and hands to feel objects tools or controls. This jobwill generally be performed in an office environment but may require travel to a clients office production facility or industrial/construction job site. Conditions will vary at each location but the conditions listed above will generally apply.

Environmental Safety Requirements:

New Employee Safety Training is required by all newly hired employees including Safety specific training modules deemed necessary by employees Manager or Director will be required of all employees on an ongoing are required to wear Nikkiso provided PPE as/when needed. PPEs include safety shoes safety glasses face shields FR clothing cryogenic gloves cryogenic apron cut resistant gloves safety gloves hearing protection hard hats & dust masks. Failure to comply with Nikkiso safety requirements will result in disciplinary actions up to and including termination.

Experience and Education:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Economics Finance Data Analytics or related field is required equivalent experience may be accepted
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and Power Point skills required
• 5 years experience in controller analyst role or similar accounting experience is required
• Equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted
• EPICOR experience is preferred but not required
• Understanding of GAAP and financial analysis experience helpful
• Prior manufacturing accounting experience is necessary

Salary: $100000 $130000 annually
