Location: Bristol
Role and Responsibilities
An Aj100 practice now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Architect to join a very skilled Architectural team of over 100 architectural staff. This specific role will focus on the portfolio of public sector defence and security work based within the UK and overseas. You will be working within a core team who focus on this sector and you will be required to run projects at various stages. There will be a requirement to travel overseas for short durations at a time throughout project stages.
Experience and Skills Required
Experience in a client facing role with good communication skills
Design Leadership capable of leading multidisciplinary design teams
Strong design and technical skills
Ability to understand prescribed client requirements and incorporate into building designs
Willingness to travel overseas previous overseas project experience is preferred
Revit experience is essential
Experience in preparing and presenting design proposals and documentation
Knowledge of UK best practice standards and keen interest in sustainability
Post Part 3 qualification experience (minimum 3 years preferred)
Due to the nature of this role you must be willing to go through a security clearance application process. An existing valid security clearance would be advantageous.
Candidates must ensure the highest design quality throughout all projects and be able to work efficiently & diligently to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail. Your talent creativity and excellent communication skills will create wide scope for personal and career development in a dynamic and growing business.
