What we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced and proficient Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in manual testing test automation cloud computing and RESTbased microservice a key member of our QA team you will lead the testing efforts and ensure the delivery of highquality software products that meet our customers expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies plans and test cases for manual and automated testing.
- Lead the design implementation and maintenance of automated test scripts using industrystandard tools and frameworks.
- Perform thorough functional regression and integration testing to validate software changes and enhancements.
- Conduct performance testing to assess system scalability reliability and responsiveness under various load conditions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define test scenarios and ensure adequate test coverage for RESTbased microservice applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the QA team.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
- Leverage telco industry experience to address specific testing challenges and requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies particularly in cloud computing and microservices architecture.
Required Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing test automation.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium JUnit TestNG or similar.
- Extensive experience with performance testing tools like JMeter LoadRunner or Gatling.
- Strong understanding of RESTbased microservice architectures and APIs.
- Handson experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior QA engineers.
- Relevant certifications in software testing or cloud computing are desirable.
