Description:
Responsible for assisting in maintaining inventory managing daily inward and outward operations and ensuring the safety and security of personnel and materials in the warehouse.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist in managing inventory levels based on planned dispatches and ensure timely material delivery to customers.
- Maintain proper records and registers as per company and ISO requirements.
- Liaise with government authorities and local agencies as required.
- Maintain safety and security for warehouse personnel and materials.
- Provide daily dispatch details to customers.
- Assist in local purchase booking.
- Work with the Sales team and coordinate with transporters to achieve optimal service standards at controlled costs.
- Supervise and support warehouse operators ensuring efficient workflow.
- Minimize inventory variances and damages by monitoring stock movement and liaising clearing agents and local authorities for processing regulatory documents.
- Ensure warehouse facility and equipment maintenance through AMC agreements.
- Handle simple bank related task (Cheque Deposit etc).
Qualifications & Candidate Profile:
- Education: Graduate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and problemsolving abilities.
- Good communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehouse/inventory management with exposure to dispatch operations and compliance.
