ABOUT THE ROLE
The Cloud and Infrastructure Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance reliability and security of both onpremises and cloudbased infrastructure. This role involves managing a team of engineers and IT professionals to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both onpremises and cloud technologies excellent leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Infrastructure: Oversee the maintenance optimization and monitoring of both onpremises and cloudbased systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and IT professionals fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
- Hybrid Strategy: Develop and implement strategies that integrate onpremises and cloud solutions aligning with the organizations goals and objectives.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with security policies and regulatory requirements implementing best practices for data protection and privacy.
- Incident Management: Coordinate response to infrastructurerelated incidents ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with service providers and other thirdparty vendors to ensure service quality and costeffectiveness.
- Budget Management: Oversee the operations budget ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Candidates without a degree must have a minimum of10 yearsof relevant work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT operations or a related field with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in both onpremises and cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud. Strong understanding of security networking and infrastructure management.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
