Welder/Fabricator
The Role
A position has become available for an experienced Mig welder to join a growing busy Manufacturing/Engineering company based in Peterborough. This role is in production and involves working with other members of the team. The applicant will be confident at manufacturing materials as detailed on engineering diagrams.
Responsibilities:
- Mig welding
- Setup and layout jobs using engineering drawings diagrams and fixtures.
- Carrying out welding operations in accordance with appropriate welding procedure specification and tight tolerances
- Use of grinders/ sanders and general hand tools
- Requirement to do other fabrication work and associated tasks as required.
Person Specification:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Competent in reading and understanding engineering drawings
- Able to use various hand tools whilst adhering to H&S procedures
- High attention to detail
- Good team player with ability to communicate well with others
Hours and Pay:
- Monday Friday Days
- Salary up to 18.00ph DOE
