The Data Quality Senior Manager will support the implementation of Keys Data Quality program. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Data Quality within the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) this role will assist in defining implementing and managing core Data Quality capabilities aligned with the Enterprise Data Quality Framework. This includes prioritization coverage tooling monitoring defect management and measurement to foster a datadriven culture grounded in Data Trust. This role is responsible for supporting key components of the program contributing to the development and of the framework and implementing sustainable processes and tools for enterprisewide Data Quality Management. Keys Enterprise Data Quality program is a strategic function providing the foundation for Data Trust across all organizational and Data Governance functions teams and data uses (regulatory analytics AI reporting etc.. The ideal candidate is a passionate data advocate with a solid understanding of data quality principles tools and best practices.
A successful candidate for this role will utilize their data quality and data management experience technical experience business acumen delivery and leadership skills to support core components of the Data Quality Framework through design development and implementation. This role will require the development of partnerships with functional leaders to align capabilities and roadmaps across business and Enterprise Data & Analytics Services (EDAS) goals.
Responsibilities
Data Quality Strategy & Planning:Assist in developing and executing the overall data quality strategy aligning with business objectives and data governance frameworks
Data Quality Framework Implementation:Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive data quality framework including metrics methodologies and tools
Data Quality Standards Definition:Help establish and enforce data quality standards guidelines and best practices
Requirements Gathering & Analysis:Drive and assist in eliciting and analyzing data quality requirements from business stakeholders translating them into actionable rules and standards
Data Quality Assessments & Audits:Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits to identify issues and areas for improvement
Data Quality Monitoring & Reporting:Establish and maintain data quality monitoring processes generating reports and dashboards to track key metrics and trends
Data Quality Issue Resolution:Collaborate with data owners custodians and other stakeholders to address data quality issues
Data Quality Tool Evaluation & Implementation:Evaluate and implement data quality tools and technologies
Documentation & Standards:Maintain comprehensive documentation of data quality processes standards and procedures
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:Effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams to promote the data quality function and associated service offerings. Support a culture of collaboration and implement methods for people to come together to make decisions solve problems and develop products/services; establish shared goals to foster collaboration and ensure everyone can access the same information and provide input.
Training & Advocacy:Develop and deliver training programs to promote data quality awareness and best practices
Continuous Improvement:Stay abreast of industry best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Data Evangelist:Be a catalyst for driving a culture focused on awareness of Data Management practices & metadata strategies covering Data Inventory Data Catalog Data Quality and Data Lineage
Qualifications
7 years of experience preferably in Banking or Finance
3 years of experience establishing operationalizing and continuously improving enterprise data quality programs
Solid understanding of data governance frameworks and practices (eg DCAM)
Proven experience managing enterprise data quality programs or assets including Agile methodologies and backlog management
Ability to coach and mentor junior staff
Ability to lead initiatives within and across teams
Strong understanding of data management principles data governance and regulatory requirements particularly regarding data quality coverage and monitoring of sensitive and critical data
Excellent analytical problemsolving and data quality assessment skills focusing on data accuracy completeness and security
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences drive consensus and influence stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and collaborate effectively to achieve shared objectives
Strong negotiation influencing and stakeholder management skills
Ability to balance strategic vision with attention to detail
Demonstrates the ability to examine a specific problem and understand the perspective of stakeholders; uses factfinding techniques to identify and document specific problems
Strong organizational acumen including understanding of systems management processes and information sources
Strong business acumen: understanding of how data quality impacts business units and how data quality programs support business objectives
Proficiency in data quality tools and technologies including data quality management metadata coverage standards monitoring and defect management
Familiarity with data catalog capabilities and tools (e.g. Alation Collibra)
Familiarity with dashboarding technologies (e.g. Tableau Power BI)
Familiarity with cloudbased technologies (e.g. GCP AWS)
Proficient in Microsoft Office/365 products (Word Excel PPT)
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $115000 to $145000 annually depending on location and jobrelated factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for shortterm incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
