A Brief Overview
The Medical Director for the walkin Crisis Response Center(CRC) and Crisis Stabilization Unit(CSU) on the Cedar Avenue campus of the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia will provide medical leadership and oversight for clinical/administrative operations. In collaboration with other administrative and clinical leaders the medical director will lead the team of direct care providers in the CRC and will model excellent care for the clinical team. The role will require direct clinical care in the emergency setting in addition to time allocated for administrative responsibilities. The Medical Director for the CRC will join the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at CHOP in the Division of Integrated Psychology and Psychiatryand will work collaboratively with other care teams including Pediatric Emergency Medicine Nursing and The Department of Social Work. Administrative time will be allocated for the medical directors leadership duties.
