Our responsibilities encompass routine maintenance strategic enhancements and specialised projects aimed at bolstering Sydneys transport infrastructure.
We have an opportunity for aProject Engineerwith experience inbridge construction/maintenance projectsto join us.
About the role
In this role you will assist in the management coordination ofallbridge maintenance predelivery activities. This will include monitoring and reporting.
Key responsibilities will include:
Achieving the delivery of bridge projects through to completion and submission of all deliverables on time to budget and to quality standards as agreed with project manager.
Preparing updating and implementing the portfolio list of project works.
In consultation with your Manager managing all contractors and staff who deliver projects.
Preparing the list of deliverables / tasks from each project and transfer to the baseline design schedule.
Development of thepredelivery phaseand interface activities.
Interfacing with internal and external design team for the design requirements.
Liaising with the client site and vendors on aspects of the delivery phase and documentation work and organise meetings with them as required.
Interfacing with cross discipline and external information and documents flow.
Diagnosing design related issues and resolves through documentation or escalation to senior management.
Participating in active continuous improvement of processes proceduresriskandsystems.
Project management activities for maintenance / construction of road infrastructure structural corridorandtunnel projects.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
Degree qualification in Engineering (Civil Electrical or Mechanical).
Around 5 years of experience or exposure to civil electrical or mechanical engineering.
Demonstrated experience in deliveringof road infrastructure bridgeandtunnel projects.
Project management experience and understanding of planning scheduling functions.
Strong communication skills ability to problem solve and resultsdriven approach.
