Job Description

Our client in the Legal Sector is currently looking to employ an Admitted Attorney (Senior Associate) in their Litigation Department based in Port Elizabeth.


Requirements:
  • Completed vocational training.
  • Admitted Attorney with at least 4 years postarticles experience.
  • Right of appearance in the High Court.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Solid understanding of drafting legal documents and contracts.
Responsibilities:
  • Appear in the High Court.
  • Handle litigation in the High Court particularly in RAF medical negligence and general litigation matters.
  • Complete all legal administrative tasks.
  • Assist with legal research.
  • Draft legal documents and contracts.
  • Consult with counsel.
  • Conduct client consultations.
  • Handle taxation of bills.
  • Prepare and submit reports.
Skills Required:
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Confidential.
  • Organised.
  • Time management.
